Welcome to Campfire is the story-making platform of creators and performers Tony Bordonaro and Ingrid Kapteyn. Merging dance and theater, their live and film productions immerse performers and audiences in dystopian futures that both endanger and engender human intimacy.
Since 2017, Bordonaro and Kapteyn have collaborated to conceive, direct, produce, and perform original danceplays in Shanghai, New York City, Chicago, and London that have been featured in TimeOut Shanghai, TimeOut NY, Playbill, TodayTix, Medium, and No Proscenium.
The company has developed work in residence at Baryshnikov Arts, The Mercury Store, and The Ailey School; received support from City Artist Corps and Dance in Sacred Places; and partnered with The Moinian Group, Callahan Real Estate, Emursive, TRAVERSE32, Manhattan Plaza, and The Empty Circle Gallery to present bespoke events. Their films The Pigeon & The Mouse and Subject are available to stream globally on Broadway On Demand and the Emmys® OTT platform.
